The Order of the Golden Drake

The order of the Golden drake, is a faction with in the Rakai Empire that handles matters that can't be solved by the military/local police or other government officials. The order is comprised of former soldiers, paladins, knights and various other martial type people. The order's main goal is to investigate, prosecute, and defend the people of the Rakai empire. They operate directly under the crown and are a type of secret police that operate in the defense of the (honest people) of the world.

Structure

Emperor Government Roles
Grand Master

• The head of the order reports directly to the Emperor and is responsible for all information gathering in the city and empire across the board.

Grand Commander

• The main military leader within the order, is responsible for units under his command. The order is not entirely militaristic but is based upon a military structure.

Grand Chancellor

• The head educator for the academy, sets the standards for the squires and those looking to climb the ranks.

Grand Justiciar

• The Judge of all crimes committed within the organization.

Enlisted Ranks
Knight of the Golden Drake

• A full fledged enlisted warrior within the order of the Golden Drake. He is responsible for conducting the investigations into private person and dealing with the upper level of society. Those that move on from this rank are leaving the field environment and joining the staff group.

Temple Guardian

• Those that guard or clean up the city, they are based in Rakai and focus exclusively on maintaining the peace within the city. They operate as freelancers with the police force and the military police.

Sergeant

• The standard footsoldier, the tested but not yet respected given the long distance assignments in other cities and across the land.

Squire

• The untested soldier, the first rank of the order. Trained by Sergeants in every aspect of the Order. Entry into the order is not difficult but time consuming.

Public Agenda

They do not exist within the public eye.
They are a secret police organization that serves the law-abiding public by removing those that seek to do the government harm. They aid in solving all conflict peacefully, if unable they resolve it through strength of arms.
The Order is primarily, responsible for handling external threats, such as Demonic, Fiendish incursions, stifling internal tensions and punishing those that violate the emperors will.
