Husura Oceans
Broad, shallow, and generally temperate, the seas here are rich in life. These waters cover 1/3 of the northern hemisphere of Berth, bordered to both east and west by the vastness of The Great Sea. To the north, there is the icy continent of Aesuquane, and to the south there is the debatably hostile monolith that is The Chatia Empire. The oceans themselves, however, are free of Imperial control (for now).
Scattered throughout the Husura Oceans there are islands of nearly every sort, from coral outcroppings on the Scarrane Reef, to the musical and windy cities of the Brightcliffe Islands, to the strange level surface of The Fixéd Cay. Many of the settlements on these islands have formed themselves into the loose confederation known as the Husura Consortium, which mainly consists of mutual non-taxation agreements and a promise to come to the aid of any member menaced by the encroaching forces of Empire.
