The Whelming Gulf
This relatively calm body of water holds the two great islands off the coast of the Imperial Heartlands: Meeav, which hosts The Collegium, and Qivias, home to the human city Bjardalar. It is warm, sunny water, rich in fish and crustaceans. Just to the north lies the Scarrane Reef, which ensures that there are always tritons traveling through on their way to New Solaria. Along the coast to the east is the Desolate Abyss and in it, Abysnea. This means that merrow and other unsavory undersea entities often creep into the mouth of the Whelming Gulf seeking food or fights. A force of Erdall's Knights Pisces defend the Gulf from the decks of their cutters and the protection of their Seaglide submarines.
