Aggan Dwarves

Jollic: Dulwra jüm Agg /ɖuːlwɾa jyːm akː/
Kahlóic: Gahlap /kaːl̥aph/
Aggan dwarves1 are one of two main dwarven diasporas in Örkraz, inhabiting what is now the federal republic of Agg-Ahlún to the west, with the other one being the Gjómic Dwarves found in the Gjóm Highlands in the central and mideastern parts of the continent.
The former the older community, with some families tracing their history back to early contacts between the orcs on one hand and jælondic peoples on the other, most of whose ancestors hailed from Ójom, Ytvía and the now-abandoned coastal cities of southwestern Jælondis and arrived to Örkraz in several waves over the centuries.
Their relationship with the native Orcs have been amicable for the most part, even more so than with Humans due to the dwarves' greater strength, arcane martial traditions and skill at working with stone and timber. As such, aggan dwarves have traditionally worked in manual labour, as sculptors or warriors, and have adapted the native culture to their own traditions or adopted certain customs wholesale in many ways.
For example, they use masks to depict various deities, saints and sacred animals, wear clothes made of plant-fibers rather than llama- or sheep's wool, and most speak a creole language known as jollic both amongst themselves as well as to communicate with the orcs of Agg-Ahlún.
