Brölirir
Þrínic: Brölirir /prœːlɪrɪːr/ , plural: brölilír /prœːlɪriːr/
Öþranic: Bröhlilil /ɓɹəl̥ɪːlɪːl/
The brölilír were rulers of the classical goblin civilizations, from Onþók to Ama, who always co-ruled as diarchs but their exact duties and power relative to each other varied over time. Following the breakup of the empire of Ama, the diarchy has been replaced by more common örkrazic-style presidents, although in some countries in Narúrt the relationship between the head of state and head of government resembles the former to some degree.

Accoutrements & Equipment
Traditionally, the brölilír were symbolized by two kinds of shells, namely núhl scallop representing the sea and a jakalar snail-shell representing the hinterland. These items were both worn and incorporated into their respective clothing, weapons and arms.
History
The earliest form of goblin diarchy can be traced back to the period after the fall of Æþúb, the first goblin civilization, during which it became common for the rulers of each city-state to entrust one of their family members to oversee the countryside and keep enemies at bay so that the ruler could focus on their duties within the town or city. Diplomacy, trade and wars to expand the borders were joint efforts for the most part.
During the empire of Onþók, this system evolved into the rule of the Peace Diarch (góbarbrölilir) and War Diarch (krírkonbrölirir), respectively. The latter focused on conquest in central Ójom, defending the border and quelling native dwarven and human rebellions while the former was responsible for trade, diplomacy, building and maintaining various infrastructure. Disagreements over the allocation of resources and manpower were not uncommon, as they tended to favour the War Diarchs.
After the goblins lost their territories beyond the Bexran Lake and the river Úkún, the brölilír became known as the Forest Diarch (jóhlobrölirir) and Sea Diarch (inixbrölilir). The power of the former was diminished as the new empire of Ama was overall more peaceful, with conflicts mostly restricted to the border or far-flung colonies in the Southlands.
