Fjún is a republic1 and one of the main countries in Rúþría, a subantarctic region in the northern Southlands, bordered by Númra to the east, Arikróa to the southeast and the Þemzó Sea to the north and northwest. Located in the western part of Rúþría, the country's capital is the city of Naðan Þvis to the north and its current president is Eðis Þalil.
Fjún is one of the main elven countries in the Southlands, along with New Þamta on the Þöton Peninsula on the eastern part of the continent, but the culture of the two is quite distinct due to being settled by different ethnic groups; Fjún's inhabitants are predominantly a mixture of elves (especially Maþúlans) and half-elves from southern Jútrilía, along with smaller human and fairy communities.
The country is known for its cheese, honey and mead and renowned for its centers of learning in the fields of magic studies -particularly magic crystals- and paleontology in Naðan Þvis and Únða, respectively.
Omaðis Ólanú covers the western part of Fjún, centered around the city of Afjirta. It's the main agricultural region of the country.
Omaðis Tamúð covers the northeastern part of the country, centered around the coastal city (originally citadel) of Amkilía on Þvalías' Promontory, Fjún's oldest settlement.
Omaðis Þvasúlis covers the eastern and southeastern part of Fjún, centered around the city of Únða.
Omaðis Zaðele covers the northern coast of Fjún, centered around the capital of Naðan Þvis. The land on the northeastern edge and part of Tamúð is a national park, a haven for the local sea goat population, which is a protected species there.

History
Much like its neighbour Númra, Fjún started out as a colony of a country in Jælondis that no longer exists, specifically Maþú in what is now the desolate region of Amþax, where undead horrors have roamed amidst the crumbling towns and cities over the last forty years since the end of the Fell Wars. The fjúnan government still claims the old territory and has sent aid to Þamta and Erenúm -the two remaining elven countries in Jælondis)- to assist them in their efforts at reclaiming Amþax for the living, but progress has been slow at best.Structure
