Rúþría (ruːθriːja)
Located in the northern Southlands, Rúþría is the largest of the few regions in the continent suitable for large-scale settlements and agriculture, the other major one being Þöton Peninsula to the east. While the climate there is somewhat cooler than on the peninsula, the land in Rúþría is less rugged and supports a wider variety of crops and livestock.
Prior to the land being colonized by outsiders, Trolls inhabited Rúþría in great numbers, subsisting variously on gathering plants and mushrooms, hunting, fishing or tending to flocks of semi-domesticated flightless pigeons or Musk Bears, with some groups living there throughout the year while others migrated there from the mountains during the winter. As on Þöton Peninsula, the natives have since been pushed southwards to the western Larsis Mountains, and the region is currently divided into several different countries, of which Fjún, Hmarg, Númra and Tos Q'eillen are most powerful.
Rúþría is notable for being the new center of human civilization since the destruction of most of their countries in Jælondis during the Fell Wars.

Geography
A number of rivers and creeks flow through the region, with the greatest ones being Iliþví in the midwestern part and Tarnúra to the east.
Fauna & Flora
Most of the native wildlife and flora have been supplanted by plants, livestock and pests introduced by the settlers, with the exception of certain birds species, musk bears and Amphitheres, though the latter most is now endangered.
