Hylesteinn
Hylesteinn is the former capital of Clan Ulfur in Binorðheim. It sits among the southern cliffs of a set of lone, low mountains in the northernmost reaches of Ulfur territory and is in close proximity to the stone of the Ulfur fylgjur (totem spirit), Hrodvitnir.

The city is run by the Jarl, Hildga Varidotr, who takes council from a group of members of various families that live in and around the city.
Defences
Hylesteinn is built into mountain cliffs giving them high ground both for battle and sight of any incoming assault in the mostly flat and open lands around the city. The natural landscape also gives any enemy only one point to assault. If an enemy does make it that far, Hylesteinn is known to have used in the past a series of tunnels that lead into the surrounding mountains in order to flank and assault any would be sieges.
Industry & Trade
The solitary mountains that Hylesteinn is built into are rich in iron and one of the Ulfur's main sources of their own ore. It also is known to hold various precious stones and on rare occasions a vein of <uncommon metal> can be found here, drawing some Svartalves to the city away from their nearby homeland.

History
Hylesteinn is the former capital of Clan Ulfur, moved after the invasion of lands to the east once in the hands of Clan Bjorn. Now the capital lies in the old capital of Clan Hjort, Tynelghaed. It still remains one of the most important cities in Ulfur territory due to its proximity to the Ulfur totem Hrodvitnir and it's existence along the Godsroad.
Tourism
Due to its placement along the Godsroad, Hylesteinn gets a steady stream of traders and travellers passing through it, though less in the winter when some decide to take less travelled roads to the south to avoid the deep snows and intense cold of the far north.
Dwarves of Ivaldir also visit and some have made residence with in the city due to its supply of ore and precious materials.
Warriors of Clan Ulfur have been known to make journeys to the city on their way to the stones of Hrodvitnir to be proven.
