Caird

Caird is the Archon of metalwork and the forge, it is said it was he who instructed the first men and elves in the ways of shaping metal and stone.
He is also considered the one who shaped the Dwarves and brought them to Elshaion, the creator, to breathe life into them.

Old tales say that his abode was deep within the mountains, where the Dwarves learnt stone craft and metal working from him.
It is also believed he didn't want to show too much favouritism to the Dwarves, so to be fair he also taught his craft to men and elves, with the Highlanders learning many of the greatest secrets of metal working from him.
