Eastmere
Eastmere is a city located in the swamplands of Milenora at the far reaches of the Commonwealth of Humanity. It is a city that is constantly on the front lines of the struggle against the dangers that lurk in the surrounding wilderness.
It was once known as Eseri Milenora, an elven city that was destroyed in the first cataclysm. After the second cataclysm, the humans decided to rebuild the city on the ruins of the elven city and renamed it Eastmere.
Despite its location in the frontier, Eastmere is a bustling hub of trade and commerce. The residents of Eastmere are a diverse group, made up of various races including humans, half-orcs, and genasi. It is a melting pot of cultures and races, with a large population of half-elves, aasimar, and kalashtar living alongside tieflings. However, tensions between these groups are not uncommon, with the tieflings often being discriminated against due to their infernal ancestry.
Despite the city's prosperity, there are always dangers lurking in the Wetlands. The city is constantly on guard against the threat of attack from hostile creatures or other dangers. To help protect the city, there is a further wall located several miles to the south, at the neck of the land. This wall serves as a second line of defense, and is manned by a group of skilled warriors and guards.
The city is also known for the Dragonfall Inn, a home to a number of adventurers, who venture out into the swamps and beyond in search of treasure and fame. These brave souls are constantly pushing the boundaries of what is known, and they are always seeking new challenges to test their mettle.
Despite the many dangers that lurk within the swamps, Eastmere is a place of hope and opportunity. It is a place where people can come to make a new start, and it is a place where people can build a future for themselves and their families.
