Irenic Reverential Calendar
Background
The Irenic Reverential Calendar is the standard calendar of the Central Domain. While many nations have their own calendars they will use internally, many traders rely upon this to organize their routes. The calendar was devised by the Elves of Milenora , which would eventually become managed by the Reverential Conservatory within the Irenic Foundation.Years
A calendar year is determined by the time it takes for the Domain of Fire to orbit the Domain of Air. The first year is set to that of the Arising .Months
A year is broken down into 24 months named after dieties in the order when they were introduced to the Aarakocra. After the Scorching of Dhogduar , and the Drow's taking of Thigdun, the Dwarves demanded their dieties be removed. The Orcs, on the other hand, did not have their dieties added to the calendar. The Months are named:- #1 after Aarakocran Deities: Ucaa
- #2-10 after the Gnomish Deities: Trakorin the Artisan, Valni the Hammer, Yosvyn the Anvil, Mylys the scales, Hessys the Chisel, Xalziver the Spectacles, Nezeik the Quill, Yosni the Toolbelt and the Great Machine
- #11-16 after the Elvish Deities: Thoelirn, Elcan, Uennal, Traelar, Glynwarin & Wasmenor
- #17-22 after the Human Deities: The Commander, The Jester, The Servant, The Noble, The Maestro & The Peasant
- #23-24 after the Halfling Deities: Fenrana & Elyver
