Day 16 - Nephyr, the Herd of Stegosaurus and the Treehouse (Jungle Day 5)

Attached again in the night, this time a Wraith approaches and it is then we realise that the fires Qawasha tells us to light at night is what is attracting them. Qawasha has been lying to us and has been purposefully attracting them to us to kill, he's also not taken us the correct direction - too far South. Yesne Brightstar is not talking to Qawasha now. We meet an Aarakocra Nephyr. He tells us the Flaming Fist are in trouble by a treehouse. They're pinned in by Petrafolk. Half a days walk through the 'blind undead'. We head off to help and see a big herd of Stegosauraus in a clearing eating wild root. Arrive at the swamp where we see around 75 undead milling around. The stegs are also approaching. Manage to get the Stegosaurus to plough straight through them then follow without being attacked. Kailyn Tharamor throws 't-rex bombs' (t-rex noises) and I light a tree with firebolt to scare them.   We meet Nephyr again and battle 5 Petrafolk. Meet members of the Flaming Fist, two haven't survived. They were on an expedition to track strange large footprints - Yesne Brightstar tells Brant Mercer it's a Frost Giant but he doesn't believe her. We ask about Shago - he went off with an evil demonic wolf, he was forced to go otherwise they would have killed them all. The Treehouse has an intricate plaque / carving on it – autumn wreather harnt – ranger type. Would have been a member of emerald enclave.   Kailyn Tharamor finds hidden drawer, gems, parchment – letter, two vials - 1 is Antedote, 1 is Vigour (removes up to 2 points of exhaustion)  

Autumnreaver Harnt,   Should you feel able to leave your watch of Kitchers inlet for a time I would value your assistance in investigating concerns I have over events at Mbala.   Yours   Summerstrider Bron   Gail Brower – whilst investigating tracks, came across a large wolf, white with icy blue eyes (Fang thinks is a winter wolf– not good). It spoke in common, wishing to know if there were guides within this land. They decided it was demonic so attacked it, it unleashed a blast of cold energy that engulfed one of them (and killed instantly). A further voice, deep & booming, came from the jungle behind spoke a language it didn’t understand. Wolf said if they wished to live they would require their guide to go with them. Shago very quickly accepted if it gave them the ability to leave and willingly departed with the wolf.   Yesne Brightstar inspects the ‘Great Ubato Maze’ carved on to the tree, she traces it to the middle (Ubato's Love of Mazes) and the temp drops to a comfortable temperature.   Bjorn Lovehammer has another trippy dream, and sees Moa again in the jungle. Tells Bjorn Lovehammer to focus on being good, has a test to apply being ‘good’ and not chaotic.
