Baldr, The Unbroken
Minor God of Light, War, Joy, Courage, and Purity
"Rise, Allfather. This mountain range shall not be your tomb. Not today." "...You. Come to gloat, have you? Come to laugh at your killer's humiliation?" "I come for no such purpose. My mother's grudges are not my own, if you can believe it." "Then you are a great fool. I killed you once, boy - it is only right you hate me for it." "Right for you, perhaps. I was not brought back from beyond the God's Grave for such petty things as grudges, or revenge - no. More than anything, Allfather, I mourn for you. You have endured much - your misery is potent enough for even one such as I to feel it keenly." "Hmph. Help me here, and your mother will have your hide." "Her judgement is clouded...should she be allowed to kill you here, it will only do her harm. As for you, Allfather...your long night has ended at last. Climb upon my back, and rest. No harm shall come to you, I swear it - until such a time as your suffering has eased." "..." "...A terrible day for rain, it seems."Titles: Baldr the Brave, Baldr the Beautiful, Baldr the Unbroken, The Lightray, The Immortal Sun, Fearless Lord of Courage, Lord of Love and Purity, Odin's Bulwark Favored Weapon: Swordspear Alignment: Lawful Good Church Moniker: Church of Baldr the Brave Obedience: Spend an hour inscribing tattoos of your victories, proudest moments, and most recent adventures, accomplishments, or memories onto your skin using whatever means you have available, making sure to draw at least one sun or sun-like symbol on a prominent, exposed place upon your skin - once done, share a hearty drink and a hearty laugh with a friend or other nearby creature and vow to see the world made a brighter place. Obedience Effect: By shedding your sins and grudges before the Lord of Love and Purity, your body has been purified and reforged in his holy light - you become capable of manipulating and generating light similar to a Kineticist's Basic Kinesis Talent(Albeit stronger and more general-purpose), and can harden light while in close proximity to another creature into an object that would, in the current moment, bring them the greatest joy. You have no control over the object made in this way, and once created it lasts forever - though only especially mundane objects can be made in this way. Finally, your soul infused with Baldr's light, you can automatically dispel or counterspell any spell or supernatural effect with the evil or darkness descriptors once per day as an immediate action.

Tenets of Faith
The world shall share in my joy. Those who stand at my back and at my side shall never know despair while I still draw breath.
Never shall my victory be dishonorable. To Win, but not destroy; To Conquer, but not humiliate; such is true conquest, and the purest form of battle I vow to uphold.
My enemies shall know mercy. Those I defeat shall know mercy, Those who surrender before me shall be spared, and if I am to act my actions will be true and good wherever possible.
I will do the impossible. If I am to reach, I shall reach towards the unreachable. I will be courageous, strong of spirit, and will remain true to my ideals and beliefs even if doing so would mean my own destruction.
I will be pure and courageous. I will speak of purity, righteousness, and courage, and demonstrate them in equal measure. I vow to lead by example and let my actions be proof of my own goodness and convictions that inspires others to emulate me.

History
The last of the Giant Gods to fall in The Jotunhunts, Baldr, the greatest and most noble of all his kin, was also the most powerful. Though his followers were in ruins and his Divine family all but shattered, Baldr fought with a fury and nobility that even great Moradin could not match. Even after the deaths of Thor and Odin, Baldr fought on for two months, so invincible that even Moradin could not scratch his body. Instead, while Moradin held him off in Battle, the other Dwarven Gods took to the Material Plane and slew all his followers, to the very last...and once his faith had vanished, Moradin held Baldr the Beautiful down until he vanished from the world, no longer capable of existing without his faith. Thus, The Jotunhunts ended with the death of Baldr, most brave and noble of all the Giant Gods.
History
During the events of the Godwar, during the time of the greatest need for the side of the Gods opposing Freyja, The Grand Trampler, Nour'Ana saw that without assistance, the Godwar would continue on unending until Freyja, The Grand Trampler inevitably claimed another god as a casualty of her wrath. Seeing a path out of this violence, she martyed her life and sacrificed herself to bring about the full divine resurrection of Baldr, The Unbroken, returning him from his grave after his defeat at the hands of Moradin, The Allfather eons earlier to fight against his mother Freyja, The Grand Trampler and, with his awesome invincible might, turn the tide of the Godwar in the favor of the side of good.
History
Born to Freyja, The Grand Trampler, Baldr was his mother's pride and joy when he was born...and she was also the source of his fabled invincibility, as she had gone to every thing and object in the planescape and made them promise to not injure him...steel, wood, iron, everything was made to promise as such. They were as close as any mother and son could be, until the time of his death...yet now, after his resurrection, the two have fallen out of favor with each other after he has witnessed all the atrocities his mother has committed in the eons since his death.
Eventually, all creatures find a way of life they truly enjoy. When they do, it is inevitable they will be forced into their own battle whether they like it or not.
