Naomi Faedra
The winged savior who rallied the inhuman tribes to resist Draconian Tyranny
Queen Naomi Faedra (a.k.a. The Unfeeling Angel)
Those damned Draconians. Of course they'd say she was a butcher, and vilify her. But do they ever mention all of our children they put into camps and worked to death? All of our familes they broke up and killed? Never. Those hypocrites. They just hated her because she stood up to them and showed them exactly what it felt like to be on the receiving end of the exact same brutality they put us through.
Physical Description
General Physical Condition
Naomi was a woman without an imposing figure, and was often utterly dwarfed in both size and fear factor by her close friend, The Knight King Van Hawk. She was short, lacking in muscle, and was often described as a "thin, frail little child" even during the early days of her rebellion. As a sanctor, she had a beautiful set of white feathery wings nearly as wide as she was tall, and used them often in favor of her own legs.
As the wars wore on, however, she filled out into a mature woman who, though not quite tall by any means, no longer held a childlike appearance and had a decent amount of muscle mass as expected of a warrior queen, though not overly much due to her use of her wings to get around. She rarely got sick, and kept herself in good shape until her death.
Body Features
She was a shorter woman, but grew to possess a decent amount of muscle and presence during her later years. Her skin was a metallic silvered color as a sign of her Angelic Ancestors, and it was not until her later years that her frame filled out its womanly features even the slightest bit. Her childlike body that she had for most of her life was known to be a topic of mild annoyance to her, as others rarely identified her for who she was until told.
Facial Features
Her face was a beautiful, pure thing with flawless metallic silver skin, with eyes that shone a burnished blue like the most beautiful azure oceans. Her gorgeous platinum hair washed down around her neck and onto her chest like a river, and was an incredible rarity even among her own kind.
Identifying Characteristics
Her massive wings, metallic colored skin, and platinum hair as well as her deep azure eyes were her most identifying features.
Special abilities
Other than her massive wings that granted her flight, she had none and was a simple warrior through and through. Despite her worship of Sahariel, The Angel of Flowers she never recieved divine power from her.
Apparel & Accessories
She was rarely seen outside of her full-body armor, and dressed herself for battle almost always. She wore silvered armor that began life as a normal suit of full plate mail, but eventually developed into a beautiful set of inlaid silver armor improved and fixed up over the decades into a thing all her own. She wore a pair of sapphire earrings, and a single star-shaped hair accessory.
Specialized Equipment
She fought with a longsword and kiteshield on the field of battle, bedecked in full plate mail and using her wings to swoop across the skies.
Mental characteristics
Personal history
Born as a poor child to a sanctor family in the city of Cirronimbus, Naomi was orphaned at a young age when her parents were killed in one of the many Draconian Internment Camps that dotted the landscape at the time, worked to death as slave labor. She lived her early life as an orphan, living on the streets of the anarchic lands that now form up the modern day Inhuman Coalition...fighting for every inch and scrap to survive, she grew up seeing firsthand the brutality, cruelty, and evil wreaked on the land by The Empire of Draconia on the inhuman and monster population of the land, and became enraged by it.
Once she came of age, she quickly rallied any who would listen to her cries for unified rebellion in the face of Draconia's tyranny, and with the assistance of the Lamia Alpha Pack and its chieftain, Phaia Calliope, as well as the Legendary Knight King Van Hawk, she led the monsters and inhumans into rebellion against Draconia.
Over the course of many battles in many places, Naomi eventually slew the king of Draconia and crowned herself queen, though she ruled for 80 long years and was then slain by an upstart Emperor Vetera in a rebellion against her.
Sexuality
Many joked she was always too busy with work or with her duties for love or sensuality. As she never took a husband or wife and never had kids, this is most likely close to the truth.
Accomplishments & Achievements
She unified the inhuman and monstrous tribes, conquered The Empire of Draconia, and formed the basis for what would later become The Inhuman Coalition.
Mental Trauma
Having witnessed unmatched brutality and evil wreaked on her fellow inhumans and monsters at the hands of The Empire of Draconia, she was scarred and traumatized and developed a deep dislike for such evil and for humans in general.
Morality & Philosophy
Much like her patron deity Sahariel, The Angel of Flowers, Naomi believed wholeheartedly in doing good, redeeming others, and bringing unity and harmony to all...she would always give others a chance to do good and to let her resolve things peacefully or to be redeemed, but once others proved incapable of peace, or refused her offer...she would feel absolutely no remorse in killing, brutalizing, or destroying them.
Personality Characteristics
Motivation
She was always driven by the simple and honest desire to give the monstrous and inhuman creatures of the world a place to live free of the persecution, butchery, exploitation and torture they experienced at the hands of bigots, racists, and people in places such as the old Empire of Draconia.
Later on, this warped slightly into a desire to punish The Empire of Draconia for its sins, but the original intent remained mostly the same throughout her life.
Savvies & Ineptitudes
Over the course of her long life, Naomi developed incredibly persuasive and passionate public speaking skills, capable of rousing even the most idle and apathic of creatures and crowds to action so long as it was a cause she herself genuinely believed in. She was an excellent speaker and diplomat, and over the course of many wars and battles, became a powerful warrior and public icon of rebellion and freedom. And over her long reign as Queen of The Empire of Draconia after she conquered the country and took its throne, she became a savvy and wise queen with powerful political skills.
She was never one to relax, and was well-known for always working in some form or fashion, such that her close friend Van Hawk would often have to force her to take a break lest she work herself to death. She never valued her own life, and always saw herself as a conduit to achieve great things in the name of others, and to this end she would pursue any goal no matter how hopeless if she believed it would help others. Though she was an accomplished warrior, grasp of tactics and mass battle strategy always evaded her.
Likes & Dislikes
Likes freedom, the power to choose, tolerance, unity, those with good in their hearts, helping others, doing the right thing no matter the cost, redeeming others, spurning others to action
Dislikes Those who judge others based on race/gender/etc, Lies, Humans, The Empire of Draconia, Greed, Nobility, Not giving others a chance, Slavery or Exploitation, Chaos and Discord, War
Virtues & Personality perks
Naomi was an incredibly passionate woman who could spur even the most apathetic of people or crowds to action, and had an unshakeable zeal that no one else could match or deny. She was a very capable leader, wise queen, and always believed in at least giving others a chance at redemption before resorting to the worst methods. She was a very pure, empathetic girl who never believed in telling a lie, and would always put others before herself even at extreme cost to herself. To her, her own life was always secondary compared to those of others. She was also a capable warrior, though she hated having to resort to such methods to accomplish things she understood their neccessity.
Vices & Personality flaws
She was selfless nearly to the point of suicide at times, and to those who knew her, didn't value her own life at all, even when she held the throne of queen or leader of the rebellion against The Empire of Draconia. Additionally, she was legendarily feared far and wide for her nature that, once a people she sought to forgive or redeem spat in her face and refused her offers of peace and goodwill, made her absolutely merciless and utterly devoid of empathy. She butchered thousands, giving no quarter and even cutting off entire family trees during her purge of Draconia...to her, The Empire of Draconia had refused the chance to solve this peacefully, and thus she held no qualms doing even the unthinkable. For good reason, she was giving the monikers "The Savior Sanguine" and "The Childkiller".
Hygiene
As an woman forged in the fires of and at home in war, she held no special interest in hygiene, though she did take the opportunity to do so when she had the chance. It was not until she became queen of The Empire of Draconia that she learned to value her hygiene, and even then, due to her unflappable work ethic she often forgot to clean herself, eat, or even relax unless reminded and forced to do so.
Social
Contacts & Relations
It was not until her campaign to conquer the Draconian Empire that Naomi would gain relations at all, but during this campaign she would became fast friends with the Lamia Queen Phaia Calliope, leader of the Lamia Alpha Pack at the time who threw in her lot with Naomi for the sake of Inhuman freedom from Draconian tyranny. The two became as close as sisters during their campaign of carnage and war across the lands of the modern day Inhuman Coalition and Empire of Draconia...though her dear friend was slain during the final moments of her campaign.
She was also close friends with the Legendary Knight King Van Hawk, leader of the Dullahans who forsook his sworn king and ally Barkhan the Eternal and even his country of The Venau Necrocracy in order to answer her desperate plea for allies to assist her fledgling campaign against The Empire of Draconia's rampant butchery and tyranny against the monster and inhuman tribes. The two grew incredibly close over her decades of life, and the legendary Doomknight was believed to be her closest friend, and was something akin to a Father Figure to her. In the end, Van Hawk outlived his closest friend, but their bond rings eternal even now, long after her death, as the Doomknight himself yet lives as an avid defender of his fallen friend's reputation.
Family Ties
The only blood family she had was her mother and father, both said to have perished in a Draconian Internment Camp for Demihumans, where they were supposedly worked to death as slaves. She never ended up having children as far as is known, and thus died without familial ties.
Religious Views
Despite the horrific acts she committed during her life in the name of resisting Draconian Tyranny, Naomi was an avidly faithful girl even from a young age who never lost hope in her patron deity, Sahariel, The Angel of Flowers, whose faith she found from a young age and continued to live by even into her old age decades later, punishing the Draconian Populace for the sins of the ruling class as well as the apathy and cruelty of the populace which let such barbaric acts take place.
Social Aptitude
Naomi was never an incredibly charismatic girl, but her driving force that let her persaude others to her cause so readily was her purity, overwhelming passion, and her genuine and honest nature. She spoke honestly, lived purely, and spoke with such conviction and dedication that, as a girl capable of filling her speaches with the most heart-wrenching passion, she had an air of trueness to her that was impossible to ignore. With this purity of desire and spirit, she gained a massive following and would in time break The Empire of Draconia and become its queen with the same passion.
Wealth & Financial state
During the beginning of her life and eventual campaign to crush The Empire of Draconia Naomi lived the life of a pauper, possessing little in the way of personal wealth in any means besides those she scrounged from her fallen foes and allies on the battlefield. She often turned away attempts to "pay her" for her rebellion by those thankful to her, and so willingly stayed in poverty even after her ascension to the Draconian Throne once she slew the last of the country's kings, often giving away the country's wealth that she took from the human nobility and the human population to fund inhuman reforms and other social projects, such as orphanages. She rarely kept or spent money on herself.
