Kellios the Man of Iron – Once a human warrior of fame and power Kellios was a larger-than-life figure striding from one exploit to another. Kellios became the champion of Pellinar, the King of Tarrel. It was in this role he met Gallia, one of the King's daughters and fell in love with her.  Once Pellinar found out about the romance between his daughter and his champion his regard for Kellios turned to rage. Pellinar, a powerful wizard, cursed Kellios inflicting a horrible wasting disease upon him. Unable to find anyone powerful enough to remove the curse, Kellios used his wealth to have a powerful alchemist build him a customized iron golem body. This fearsome new form towers above normal men, boasts heavy armor, fearsome horns and a pair of deadly sickle swords. Kellios now stalks the northern lands seeking revenge against Pellnar’s large extended family. Kellios has now slaughtered a number of Pellinar’s relatives and is recruiting bandits and mercenaries to mount larger and more deadly attacks against Pellinar’s Kingdom. His two most dangerous allies are two other so called iron men Skadden and Gaither. These two are believed to be the iron golems inhabited by the spirits of two dead comrades of Kellios.

Physical Description

General Physical Condition

Once human, Kellios is now a 7' tall iron golem with metal horns protruding from his head.

Metal, somewhere in there is his brain and his central nervous system preserved in some sort of magical reservoir.

Apparel & Accessories

Kellios generally wears a surcoat to proivde some level of protection from dirt and rust. His exterior is also coated with some sort of clear varnish.

Specialized Equipment

Kellios carries two identical sickle sword, which are allegedly enchanted.

History

Kellios was Pellnar's right-hand man for five years carrying mission of high importance for the King. Kellios however had a torrid affair with Pellnar's daughter Gallia. When Pellnar found out he had Kellios imprisoned and cast a terrible wasting curse on him, which caused his flesh to slowly rot away. Before the effects of the curse had reached an advanced state, Kellios escaped and fled the country. He spent the next year desperately looking for someone powerful enough to lift the curse, but was unable to find someone with both the power and willingness to do so. Kellios then used his considerable wealth to have an alchemist build him an iron golem body. Kellios then had his increasingly damaged body sealed inside the golem. Since this time, Skellios has been working on his vengeance against the king and his family. He has targeted any member of Pellnar's extended clan that he can get at. So far he has killed one of Pellnar's adult sons and two of his nephews.
