Temporalist University
The Temporalist University, also known as Bayt Alhikmat fi Korumarai (Naleedic: "The House of Wisdom in Coromare") is a university in Coromare, Kingdom of Litticala. It is the first Temporalist university to be constructed outside of Naleed. In addition to serving as an institute of higher learning, the University oversees the administration of the Temporalist Houses of Knowledge throughout the city.
Founded in 376 GE by Sheeric Temporalists, its students study history, Naleedic, mathematics, and Temporalist philosophy. The University also offers specialized courses of study in medicine, law, and Temporalism. Students are required to have completed the standard course of study at a Temporalist House of Knowledge, and must pass an examination to gain admission. The University has no age restriction, and will accept any student able to pass the entrance examination.
History
Following the rapid spread of Temporalism in the Kingdom of Litticala in the early 300s, there was a growing demand for Houses of Knowledge. The universities in the eastern regions of Naleed could not keep up with the demand for instructors, and saw a dramatic increase in applicants from abroad. To meet this need, Temporalist scholars in Godswalk appealed to the King of Litticala for permission to construct a House of Wisdom in Coromare.
The land on which the Temporalist University sits was once part of the palace gardens. It was gifted to the Temporalists by King Leonardo II in 376 GE. The first classes were held before construction began on the University's main hall, with students gathering in the area that would later become the University's courtyard.
