Astal
The gentle and strong half-elv of The Almighty 8 who has control over the powers of nature. Astal's past is mysterious as Stroheim writes they simply bumped into her on the road outside Bizen, but she says she wandered the land discovering all of nature she could. Her ability to heal helped the party immensely and she was a strong warrior they needed as well. Astal has a supernatural affinity with animals and attracts them wherever she goes. After the Chaos Calamity she stayed with Stroheim in Bizen years, but eventually returned to a nomadic life where she shed her magical equipment throughout the wilds, hoping it would help future adventurers. There is a saying that wherever you encounter an oddity in the woods, a tree bent into a living bridge or a savage beast turned friendly, it is the mark of the wanderings of Astal.
