Princess Consort Arcaena Wulfric- Landris (a.k.a. Princess Arcaena the Scholar)
Arcaena Landris was born on the 7th of Aggo, 25 EC. Throughout her childhood, it became evident that Arcaena was a bright girl. By the time she was 16, she was educated and would be considered a protigy by today's standards. She became one of the youngest scholars to ever study in Matnum. When she was 29, she helped to discover magic with other scholars. Emperor Erlan forbade her and her fellow scholars from telling people of their discovery, but Arcaena did not listen. On the 4th of Jumill, 56 EC, Arcaena announced the discovery of magic to the world. She was arrested and sentenced to death for this act of treason. The people of Matnum are outraged at this, and begin to protest her sentence, demanding that she be set free. Emperor Erlan eventually gives into their demands and pardons her.
After her release, Arcaena and Crown Prince Erlan fall in love, and they get married on the 16th of Jumill, 60 EC. Sadly, her husband passed away five years later before Arcaena was able to conceive any children. Some people believe that she was pregnant at the time of Erlan II's death, but that Kellam snuck an abortive potion into her drink one night to ensure that his claim on the throne would remain. Some people also believe that Emperor Kellam's death was brought about by Arcaeana taking revenge for her late husband.
After her husbands death, Arcaena went on with her studies and experiments. One of her experiments went wrong however, causing her to pass away on the 20th of Coon, 162 CE. Her death resulted in the creation of the religious organization called Arcaena's Children. An organization dedicated to the study of magic that claimed Arcaena was a magical prophet sent from the gods.
