The Mortris Cabal:

Directed by Shafarn this Drow Cabal now has taken control over the Reachers facility erected by Salman and maintained by Ishmael. Here they combine the cunning of their Cabal with the expertise of one of their researchers, not restrained by bothersome limits such as morality and the well-being of their subject. The figureheads of this scheme are Iholvu Kruuge, a young and driven Dark-elf from the Cabal, and Orubar Dirnos, an opportunistic Gnomish researcher no longer restrained by the limitations of the previous management.

When the Cabal captured the Observatory, they managed to capture or kill its defenders, Gazeer and 7 of his men managed to escape, but:

• 6 Dwarves were killed or were killed during interrogation.
• 1 Dwarf was captured and is still alive as he has spilled the beans.
• 2 Dravini guardsmen were allowed to take care of their liege. 
• 3 Mages (2 + Orubar) where captured and 1 refuses to cooperate.
• 5 servants (4 + Maesotades) are allowed to take care of their kin, under scrutiny,
