Bald Hill

Historic center of Redridge and an enormous district where much of manufacturing facilities are concentrated.
This is the undisputed heart of Redridge - many people live here, and even more commute here to work and study. Traffic is bad, probably one of the worst in 7Cs - old narrow streets cannot be widened because of all the immovable industrial build up. Residential areas are nice, but there are never enough schools, so there is some teenage gang activity. This creates a curious demographical dichotomy - people either graduate from high school and uni to later go work in the local high-tech industries, or can't get into high school at all, which means menial jobs, or a life of petty crime. Sometimes both.
