Canyon

Relatively new district in the ravine between the Knuckles. To relieve the constantly overloaded M-10 and provide a shortcut to Blue Lake, the dirt road was turned into a wide avenue, and a lot of businesses sprung up.
All life is concentrated along the Empire Avenue - it's not a downtown of anything, but you can find decent food and not too shabby clothing here, as well as as some colorful characters. Be wary on the windy days though - the wind gathers great speed between the mountains, so when particularly strong gust meets an underloaded car or an underfed pedestrian, locals anticipate some splinternet-ready hilarity.
