Battery Hill
Historically rich neighborhood on the hill overlooking the valley. Before construction of I-8 highway you could even see the ocean from here. Name comes from colonial era, when artillery platoon was stationed here for several years.
Blissfully quiet hood just off the lively Ribbon. Houses here are small, but in good condition and nicely equipped. Rent is high and neighbors are kind of snobbish, but there is the park and the bank of Mira, and almost leisurely pace of life.
