Ribbon
Longfield historic center. Before construction of M-1 and M-2 only way from the continent interior to the sea was through this valley. So this neighborhood started as a town on the road to accommodate various services and people who provided them. In 2003-2027 somewhat chaotic original street structure was redesigned taking into account existence of M-1 highway and need for large scale development.
Enormous size and huge population makes it hard to sum Ribbon up. But in general it is pretty densely built - especially central region. Blocks to the south, near the railway, are less prestigious and tend to be cheaper. Blocks near long Ribbon Park and facing Mira to the north tend to be more expensive. Highway system takes the brunt of the transit traffic these days, but main avenues connecting Aerbright with ocean coast are still lively and noisy.
