Taqairo

Taqairo is a country in the northeast of the Known World. Located in the White Forest, Taqairo borders Dathela in south and Veloras to the east. It is often overlooked because its main industries are agriculture and hunting, but it is fast becoming a prosperous country.

Taqairo is considered the continent's friendliest country, as everyone is welcoming and hosts plenty of fun events throughout the year. It is also one of the few countries to allow citizens from the New World to live and work there. However, it is still a emerging economy, and some services still are not available to all its citi

Demography and Population

Taqairo has a majority Human population, like most of the continent. Humans are spread out all over the country, but tend to live in cities in the south. However, it is also home to a significant Torsten population, who live in the north where the villages are. Some Elves live here too and they live in the south.

Foreign Relations

Although the Known World is quite protectionist and has isolated itself from the rest of the world, that hasn't stopped Taqairo from trading with countries in the New World. It has a number of good relations with the countries in the north of the New World.
Taqairo is also happy to trade at home. It has established a good relationship with Veloras, who is happy to trade technology with the country. Taqairo used to trade with Kostral and Aspait, but when the Kostral War started, the area in the west became volatile, and it could no longer import metals from either country. It now trades mainly with Veloras, but will occasionally import goods from Kostral.
