Syndri

(a.k.a. The Dark Ranger)

Syndri the Ranger

Syndri had been employed as a spy for the Solarans to ensure the local bandits did not raid their camp during the meeting at Skratafell. Then, to ensure their safety from the Fallen Paladin Thorgrim and his undead he escorted the Solarans back to their homeland, but unbeknownst to him, Thorgrim had unleashed his wraiths to chase the Dawn Landers. He ran, as fast and as quickly as his feet could carry him through the land to where the Dawn Landers would enter the Faewyld in search of safety from the wraiths that gave chase. None would be found, and the hunter had become the hunted. Syndri is now presumed dead, his body lost somewhere between Skratafell and the entrance to the Faewyld.

Syndri, the Haunted

A shell of what could only be assumed at one point was a man, seduced by Thorgrim and his master Orcus, the ranger searches to bring the Dawn Landers to justice for their crimes against nature by any means necessary. Even if that means serving a Lord who would consume the world with an undead plague, because in the end, we all return to nature.

What is an NPC

If you’d like to play, but want to reduce costs, then you can sign up as an NPC or Monster. If you choose to play as an NPC or monster, you may be given a role (perhaps more than one). You can specify a combat or non-combat role. You don’t have to choose a class and culture as an NPC, we will choose one for you. You will receive double experience points, standard starting gold, and are eligible for Royalty Points. You will also get an entry at half price.

THE PURPOSE

Monsters, NPCs, and Staff allow the LARP to run smoothly and help players who don't know exactly what they want to play, or that want to help, and/or need help with discounts to take part in the LARP.

The BIG Difference

between an NPC and an Adventurer is that an NPC’s primary job is to help the story move forward and to help players. NPCs fill jobs like healers, essential townsfolk roles, etc.
