When things get rough, that alike stick together. This is why the Cresent Moon Alliance, comprised out of Half-elves formed when they arrived at the island. Their arrival was rough, initially having claimed a destitute rock as their new home they soon found themselves in a losing conflict with the nearby goliaths. After losing the war, they were moved towards the mainland, where they found more welcoming neighbours in the Humans and the Elves.
