Antoniadi Battalion
Known for their near-religious levels of zealousness and myriad acts of barbarity, the Antoniadi Battalion was first founded during the Red War. At first the battalion served as an emergency defense force for the settlement of Antoniadi to fend off any attacks from roving pirates or raiders and even Mazriata itself. The founding charter of the battalion claims that their ardent fervor and hate for Mazriata stems from an event that occurred near the end of the Red War where Mazriata soldiers allegedly bested the settlement's forces in battle and then promptly executed any survivors along with any civilians that tried to resist their occupation in any way. It is even claimed that those executed through the barbaric act of beheading. These claims have never been confirmed, but nevertheless the settlemnt and its battalion beleive in these events with all their hearts. Because of this, they are partially hostile towards any soldier or civilian of Mazriata, even in times of peace. There have been many reported instances of battalion soldiers beheading Mazriata soldiers as some sort of twisted recompense for the alledged actions of their ancestors. While there have been multiple calls for the Martian People’s Republic to take action and reign in their barbaric battalion, the battalion refuses to head reprimands about the actions and the MPR has yet refused to take any further action in turn. This has been a point of contention for many years, especially for those located near Syrtis Major which Antoniadi is very close to.

Allegedly the close to standard 35 tanks, ~1,750 men, but multiple claims have been made over the years that the battalion posses many more vehicles and men than they claim.
