The Flag: The silver/grey in the center of the flag surrounded on either side by the red of Mars represents how the MPR holds the planet's economy together with its seemingly endless coffers and reserves of raw resources. Meanwhile three gears, representing the three main cities of the MPR, demonstrate the exceedingly proficient manufacturing and production power of the nations, the crossed swords in the center displaying the MPR's people's will to fight to preserve its grandeur.

History

The primary opponent of Mazriata in the Red War, this orginization was originally known as the People's Collectivization Movement. After the war concluded and borders were finally decided upon and drawn, the PCM found itself roiling with previously unforeseen internal disagreements coming to the forefront. Tensions escalated until nearly the point of civil war, but the crisis was ultimately diverted and a new political party took over and renamed the nation to the Martian People’s Republic, as it remains today.
