(a.k.a. The Nameless Spirit)
Ru is the spirit that is bond to the Pharaoh's Puzzle and self-proclaimed guardian of Todd Booker who solved the puzzle. He is unsure of who he was in the past or what his purpose is now.

Physical Description
General Physical Condition
As a spirit, Ru is see-through and he floats rather than put his feet on the ground. He can also possess Todd taking his form.
Special abilities
Ru is really good at Illusion spells and has cast Mind Sap so often that he can destroy anyone's mind if he wanted.
Specialized Equipment
Since Ru is a spirit he can go through walls and do other ghost stuff allowing him to scout areas for dangers before his mortal friends proceed.

Personal history
All that Ru remembers is that he awoke in the room of a teenage boy after wandering in a tomb for the past millennia to the Pharaoh's Puzzle solved. He noticed the stress that the boy was under and took upon himself to face the bully. Now the bully had asked Todd to bring him some money for the "service" that he did by beating Martin up for Todd. Ru met the bully at school and instead of paying the bully Ru offered to play a risky game with him. When the bully lost Ru used Mind Sap on him to make him go insane. Ever since then Ru has appointed himself as Todd's guardian and anyone who has threatened Todd or Todd's friends have ended up in similar conditions as the bully.

Ru considers himself to be very moral and holds himself to high standards giving some slack to other people. However, Ru believes that if one person ha to be sacrificed in order for the group to survive he will make that choice when it appears that there are no other opponents.Philosophy
Ru believes that honor is the most important trait and that in combat whether it be a card game or an actual fight both parties must follow rules of engagement. If a party breaks those rules they need to be punished even if that party won with their rule breaking. On top of honor, Ru thinks that cleverness is a desirable trait since it can help someone find solutions to problems. This cleverness has allowed him to come up with puzzles and games to that trick opponent into dangerous consequences. The last thing that Ru has held onto from his forgotten past is faith which is what has kept him going. Ru is confident and is willing to go to far lengths to help his friends. When he is at odds his Todd or any other friend his willing to swallow his pride and try to patch up the relationship. Ru isn't willing to give up on his friends and will even use his magical knowledge to keep them safe.

Ru is very proud and at times that pride has caused trouble for him and the people that he cares about. Ru also stubbornly believes that he knows what is best for Todd even though times have changed, this has caused Ru to posses Todd's body and make decisions on Todd's behalf. Ru although doing his best to be patient and understanding is also wrathful and resorts to violence if he believes the situation calls for it.
