Mashup is a U.S. American Independent super currently active in Cape St. Joan, Oregon. As a Tinker, she is known to offer her services to supers of all kinds, provided they can afford her high prices.

Physical Description

Special abilities

Mashup's tinker powers allow her to combine existing tech into impossible or improbable new combinations. This is not limited to normal technology but also applies to other tinker tech.

Apparel & Accessories

Mashup wears garage mechanic-like attire, her face hidden behind a welding mask with a plus sign painted on the front. This makes her look like she just stepped out of a workshop. Her costume seems to double as actual workshop gear as it tendsto smell of oil and grease.

Personal history

Mashup first became active in 2010 when she joined the Cape Youth Outreach at the age of twelve. As a tinker with limited offensive application, she never made many public appearances or was involved in a lot of crime fighting.
Six years later when she officially became old enough to join the Capes proper, she instead shocked her superiors and teammates by rejecting the offer and instead going independent. Though her identity is therefore on-record with the authorities, they did not stop her as she continued to offer support to the authorities (but also Independents, Vigilantes and Rogues). While there was debate whether she should be labeled a criminal in the following two years, any consideration of such plans was dropped when Jane Doe conducted the "D-Day" terror spree. Not wanting to further destabilise the city in the aftermath by going after Independents and with all of them now under the declared protection of Parrot, Mashup was able to hold on to her current state.

Volume 2: Vacuum

In 2023, Mashup was present when Parrot called a meeting of all non-Sanctioned supers in town to discuss the carsh of Black Jack. There, Disequilibria member Black Cat made contact with her, hoping to employ her services in the future.
