Rhyleth Agar'waen is the seventh Baron of Don'dor, and one of the seven Lords of the Rhovanion Hinterlands. He is also an immortal vampire whose family became afflicted with the vampiric curse after uncovering an ancient artifact of the old god Khah'rahk.
Rhyleth's ancestors were bequeathed the Don'dor Barony by Queen Regent Elanor Ayn'lor as a reward for overthrowing the former Lord of the Hinterlands and rallying the rest of the Rhovanion nobles to House Ayn'lor's aid during the War of Succession. While settling the lands of Don'dor, his great great grandfather discovered one of the seven crowns of Khah'rahk in the ruins of a pre-exodus castle and upon putting the crown on his head became afflicted with the curse of vampirism, which he then spread to the rest of his family.
