Mundrin Ridge

A massive mountain range, second to Blackrock Peaks, stretches along the southern reaches of the territory. While Dracheim's borders extend beyond the ridge, the mountains themselves act as the functional border. In years past, crossing through the mountains was extremely treacherous and time consuming. The logistics of maintaining any sort of settlement with means of access to the city in times of need were impossible. Since the time of the Dragon Riders being established, citizens do not feel safe settling so close to Deuria's border with no means of reliable protection from the city. The rising animus from Deuria has many believing that the mountain range is the only thing stopping the The Magus Collective from sending its armies north to purge the "City of Traitors". From the northern side, Dracheim has invested some resources into expeditions of the mountains, seeking more resources to expand their very limited sources. Only occasional mild success has been achieved so far partially due to the hazards of crossing so much tundra on a single trip to reinforce or support such operations.
