Clank & Shank

Located fairly close to the southeastern gate, Clank & Shank is Ambergulch's sole smithy. As such, the skilled team is responsible for creating and repairing the guard force's armor and weapons, in addition to all other metal work in the village.

Architecture

Constructed of wide brick pillars supporting a heavy ceiling reinforced with iron beams, Clank & Shank is a fairly large building with multiple furnaces. Rather than doors and full walls, the structure has thick steel shutters which can be rotated and slid along tracks above and below, in order to maximize airflow and natural lighting. When fully opened, the smithy resembles a gazebo more so than a proper building. Within there are many storage racks and each smith has their own work station.
