The Brawl

The most popular tavern in Ambergulch. The regulars try to maintain a civil environment, because they know that Shautha will finish any fight that gets started in her establishment. That being said, travelers don't always know that reputation, and some even see the tavern's name as an invitation to act rowdy.
It is neighbored by the Noble Obelisk Inn, which begrudgingly accepts the business of the tavern's drunken patrons.

Architecture

The entire building is made of heavy sandstone blocks with a slate roof. Shautha resides on the second level, and below is a cellar holding casks of alcohol as well as simple foods for patrons.

History

The Brawl was built by Mhurren when he reached maturity as his coming-of-age rite, in an attempt to boost the village's morale. The original building was made largely of wood and was destroyed in a huge barfight. He then rebuilt entirely using stone, and Shautha inherited the tavern when she reached maturity.
