The Party Traveled to Havenglen and Slew Many Monsters

The party traveled along Lake Galifar and up towards Havenglen where the scared off a Manticore, before tracking it to its nest and slaying the beast and its mate.

The party traveled from Varna to Havenglen, following Lake Galifar for most of the journey. They were delayed initially by heavy rain, but otherwise had an easy journey.   As they reached the Wolfstal, they stumbled upon an inn, nestled among the trees, called the Peckish Pixie.   After resting at the Pixie, the party pushed onto Havenglen, where they found it under attack by a Manticore and assaulted it with magic. The beast fled, but not before slaying a villager, and the players chased after it.   Tracking it well into the forest, they took a wrong turn and began tracking an injured Troll. Finding the Troll's lair, they killed the beast with little trouble. That night they were attacked by swarms of wasps, though they too were easily dispatched.   The day after, the party backtracked and resumed their hunt of the Manticore. Reaching the lair of the Manticore, they discovered their friend Doreah was in danger.   Showing their strength again, the party easily defeated the Manticore and another, which was the one they had fought in Havenglen, and the fight ended with Zora'kas shattering them all to death.
