Jasper
A dragonmarked Drow with the Mark of Shadow, Jasper is a well trained assassin with a storied history of successful missions under House Phiarlan's banner, yet was excoriated from the house during the Shadow Schism during the end of the Last War. Now operating as an agent under House Thuranni's banner, fate has lead Jasper to cross paths with River, Sarasa, Branks, and Brom, the four becoming traveling companions and quickly building a reputation as capable and daring adventurers.
The Last War may be over, but Jasper's war has only just begun. Still a youth by elven standards, he was trained in House Phiarlan's elite as a high profile assassin with cover identities as a nightlife performer and escort. As the Last War raged on, Phiarlan agents would find themselves set against fellow house members as every nation purchased their espionage and assassination services, and these contracts would often result in friendly fire that fed a growing divide among the elves of the house. Eventually, enough was enough, and a significant portion of House Phiarlan split from the house to form House Thuranni, and Jasper was caught up in the schism during the prime of his career. He remains tight lipped about what lead him to House Thuranni, but he serves them well, and the fledgling house surely counts him among one of their most valuable assets.
