Found as a child on the borders of Droaam, Sarasa was taken in by powerful figures of the brand new nation. Raised to adulthood by a strange combination of Beholders, fiends, medusas, and more, Sarasa found herself in a fortuitous position in Droaam as one of its founders; the mighty hag Sora Katra, is her godmother. As such, she is simultaneously one of Droaam's greatest assassins and prominent diplomats. On a diplomatic mission to Q'Barra, fate would see her crossing paths with Brom and shortly after with Jasper, Branks, and River. The five of them would become traveling companions, and quickly gained a reputation as capable and daring adventurers.
Sarasa's unique upbringing allows her a unique perspective on the world. She is older than the nation she acts as a diplomat of, yet knows of no other Yuan-ti quite like her. Comfortable around creatures that the rest of the world tell scary stories about, Sarasa often finds herself running into members of her ever expanding extended family, albeit often in degraded or hidden places where the humanoids of the world can't find them. The same can't be said about the majority of the population in Khorvaire, however, and Sarasa bears the heavy burden of helping to build a future for a people not quite like her at the whims of people who don't trust them.
