"as you turn around a bend in the rocky path, a large eastern temple comes into view through a small torii which arches over the path. Around and in the distance, you can see small pagodas of similar architecture delicately placed upon high juts in the rock."- Description of the exterior of Nakal monastery
"The intense smells of incense fill your nostrils as you step through the open archway into the temple. The white walls are covered in intricately designed tapestries depicting abstract colors and shapes, and the floor is made of rough uneven stone. In between each tapestry is a door, presumably leading to separate living spaces for the monks. These doors line the long hallway which seems to open into some kind of large room at the end." (further down the hallway): "As you enter the large room, you notice it is mostly empty, with burning incense sticks placed in each corner of the room. In the center is a large stone placed withen a section of the floor dug out and filled with dirt. Grass and flowers grow around the base of the stone. Above the stone floats a masked woman in the same garb as the monks, unmoving. Sunlight shines down as a perfect spotlight on the woman from an open skylight directly above her. The room is eerily quiet."- Description of the interior of Nakal monastery
