Benjamin Schmidt
Anchorite - Warden
Benjamin Schmidt, born in the Domain of Borca , had a deeply religious upbringing, preparing him to become an anchorite in The Church of Ezra . As he grew older, he felt a calling to go on a pilgrimage to the neighboring country of Falkovnia to spread his faith and minister to the people there. Falkovnia had just lost its ruler, the General Vlad Drakov , who had previously forbidden any faith in the Domain, and little did Benjamin know that his journey would take a dark turn.
Upon arriving in Falkovnia , Benjamin encountered a country in the midst of political upheaval. Vladeska Drakov , the new ruler and daughter of the late Vlad Drakov had come into power, and the atmosphere in the country had grown oppressive and hostile. Unfortunately, this change in leadership would have dire consequences for Benjamin.
While he had initially hoped to peacefully spread his faith and offer spiritual guidance, Benjamin found himself caught up in the chaos of Falkovnia ’s political landscape. The new ruler was suspicious of outsiders and viewed Benjamin’s religious activities with suspicion. As a result, Benjamin was taken captive, and his ability to practice his faith freely was severely restricted.
He was forced to work under Dr. Vjorn Horstman administering medicine to the wounded soldiers or forcefully participating in the doctor’s barbaric experiments. He had acted as the head physician at the Hatzimvas Hospital until its recent fall to the undead.
