Mousel Building

The abandoned sanitarium in the city of Port-a-Lucine looms ominously on the outskirts, a decrepit reminder of darker times and unspeakable horrors. Once a place of healing and solace for the afflicted, it now stands as a crumbling monument to madness and despair.   The building itself is a sprawling complex of crumbling stone walls and twisted iron bars, its once-grand facade now marred by years of neglect and decay. Broken windows stare out like empty eye sockets, their shattered panes casting fractured reflections of the surrounding gloom.   As one approaches the sanitarium, a palpable sense of unease settles over them, the air thick with the weight of untold suffering and whispered secrets. Rumors of hauntings and other supernatural phenomena swirl around the building like specters in the night, adding to its aura of malevolence and dread.   It is said that the sanitarium was once owned by the Mousel family, a noble lineage whose name has become synonymous with madness and tragedy. The patriarch of the family, a doctor whose mind was rumored to be more twisted than those of his patients, used the sanitarium as a place to conduct his depraved experiments and macabre treatments.
