Annachs Sea
Annachs Sea is the stretch of water between Daugstad and the Posuidete Archipelago. The area is well known for its hazardous waters; the ocean currents coalese in such a fashion that storms here are a common occurence with most dying out in the ocean, or being pushed north by the ocean winds. There remains an air of mystery surrounding the location, with the tale of Her Oceans Fury serving as a reminder that man should rarely consider the oceans to be a tameable place.
Geography
The sea has little in the way of remarkable features, though some might be called as such. A barrier reef, the Deadmans Passage can be found in the towards the eastern edge of the sea, which is often considered as a border against the Great Maw. The centre of the ocean lacks any such features, being comparatively empty.
Ecosystem
The sea sits at a junction of three warm currents coming from the south, north and west while also having cold trade winds due to its latitudional position. This creates a pair of distinct ecosystems, with a long coral reef produced by warm currents in the east and a tumultuous storm-wracked central and western region.
The reefs and cays of the east support a variety of fish species and crustaceans, who live in the reefs year round. Predatory fish live amongst the reefs, preying upon the smaller fish in the region. In addition, aquatic mammals visit the region on occasion to hunt.
The stormy areas of the center tend to move around in a pattern unpredictable to humans. As it shifts, the rapid increase in sun increases plankton growth, causing a surge in pelagic animals such as large whales and fish.

Frequent storms exist throughout the regions center and sometimes the edge, wrecking almost any aspirational captain wishing to travel through.

History
Annachs Sea was once considered ideal for deep ocean trade routes, but the frequent storms have made it hazardous at best for any vessels brave enough to journey through. A common theory as the storms common to the center of the region is that a storm giant was able to immerse themselves into nature on a spiritual and physical level, turning into a semi-conscious storm manifesting as it wishes.
Despite its barren nature, sailors with less-than-legal goals often train to maneuver around the worst of the storms and use the few rocky outcrops as places to stash goods when needed.
