Paulette Apothecary
A small, dark-oak building near the gates of Eris, where the eponymous Sarisse Paulette makes her brews, potions, salves, and aides, along with some general magic supplies and even some mundane herbs and spices for cooking.
It was originally made by her great-grandmother, Evylinne Paulette, and it's been passed down the line up until now.
Purpose / Function
The store produces and sells potions of various effects, along with the herbs and magical ingredients that make them up. Additionally, the store provides dried herbs and spices for seasoning or more mundane medicinal practices.
Sarisse has also gotten into the business of wand and stave creation but hasn't reached the level where she feels comfortable selling them.
Design
The store itself is 30x30 feet, with room for some display cases and the main shopkeeper's desk. It's one floor, with a flattened roof that has a small garden on it, and does have a small backroom for security essentials.
Sensory & Appearance
The store is kept dim and atmospheric, and the scents in the store are typically sharp and varied, the mixture of the herbs and spices that go into potion brewing.
Architecture
The building itself is made out of simple dark wood, with some basic stone making the essential structure. It was built on top of a decent leyline output, so there's a strong magic flow through the building, enough to make the crafting work as expected.
