Whittle Wonders
A quaint, small shop located in the dreary town of Eris in Atalanta. Owned by a delightful middle-aged human woman by the name of Omri Schlosser, a long term resident of the town, who has as many secret tidbits of information as she does fancy hand-crafted wares.
Originally owned by her husband, he sadly perished in The Border Wars, and she took on the store herself in a new direction once her eldest daughter moved out, and now the store offers not only a wide variety of carved pieces, from large art pieces to handy utensils, to small charms to fit on bows or weapons, including a small amount of magically enchanted wooden tools.
Architecture
Much like the rest of Eris, Whittle Wonders is made of simple dark stones, although the stone has been accented by hand-made wooden signs and tapestries to liven it up.
Inside the store is much brighter than the outside, with white oak wood flooring, and dark wood tables and shelves to house the wares, with soft lights and candles (which Omri'll be happy to direct you to her friend who makes them) to make it more homey and soft in the dreary town of Eris.
History
When it was first made in 960 AC by her husband, Erik Schlosser, it was a simplistic store, known only by friends and those in the lumber industry. After the Border Wars intensified, Erik was sent off and didn't come home. There were many years where it was a perpetually closed storefront, collecting dust and stares, until Omri decided to take things into her own hands and restart it from scratch, revitalizing the inside, sprucing up the outside, and trying to make a bit of positivity in the city of tragedies.
