Frostholm
Deep beneath the surface, at the crossroads of an intricate network of tunnels, lies a remarkable underground settlement belonging to Clan Ebony Bear. This hidden city, known as Frostholm, has been ingeniously carved out of the rock, providing shelter from the perpetual winter that blankets the surface world, the Frozen Desolation .
Frostholm's inhabitants, the resilient farmers, have mastered the art of survival in these harsh conditions. Their expertise lies in two primary fields: farming and aquaculture. Within the expansive caverns and chambers of Frostholm, they have harnessed innovative methods of agriculture, utilizing advanced hydroponics and carefully controlled environments to grow a variety of crops. Despite being deep underground, they have mastered the art of harnessing natural light sources and have developed techniques to recreate ideal growing conditions for their crops.
In addition to their agricultural prowess, the dwarves of Frostholm have embraced the abundance of underground water sources. They have established extensive aquaculture systems, breeding and rearing various fish species in vast subterranean pools. These fish provide a sustainable source of food and serve as a vital protein-rich diet supplement for the dwarven population.
Frostholm lies at one of the most central nodes of the tunnels that connect the Kingdom of Tern. Their central location allows them to distribute their crops through out.
Points of interest
The city is home to a beautiful shrine to Errius, Goddess of the Harvest and fertility. Surrounded by pristine water teeming with aquatic life. The statue of Errius is made of marble and emmits daylight following the day/night cycle of the surface.
