Hanetch
"Oh, Hanetch has always filled me simple heart in a way no others could. She seems to be the only one who understood that sometimes the hardest fight and highest prayer is a long day of hard work."Elton Laxley, priest of Hanetch
Hanetch, goddess of laborers, was a simple soul who saw great value in the simple bettering of oneself through manual labor. She helped the earliest humanoids develop untilled soil into farmland, single-handedly domesticated many wild species, and even created some of the crops that are still commonly grown today. She largely stayed out of the conflicts during the Age of the Meydra, believing that the best way to help the humanoids at the time get through it was to keep them out of the way and focused on their work, but when her home was threatened by generals serving under Damakos, she rode to battle against him astride a wild boar, and, with the help of Tvorec, prevailed. She is portrayed as a human woman with a long red braid wearing farming clothes, often astride her war mount and wielding a pitchfork.
Relationships
Hanetch's husband was Tvorec. They met by chance, when he stumbled across her farm in his wanderings. They had one child, Uapri, who quickly set out on his own shortly after he was grown. Hanetch did not often make the journey to the Valley of the Meydra, but was well-received when she did.
Followers
Hanetch has few clerics, but plenty of priests, with the vast majority based in small farming towns. She is particularly beloved by a vast number of commoners for her show of quiet heroism and her story, which inspires even the lowliest to believe they are capable of greatness.
