Tvorec

"To hunt is to understand your place in the world."
ancient saying attributed to Tvorec

Tvorec was immediately drawn to chase the wild creatures he saw in the woods, from his very first step in Ekaia. He spent much of his time in isolation from the other Meydra, learning to fish, hunt, track, and make good use of every part of the animals he took down. During the conflicts involving Damakos and Kan Zul he volunteered his skill with a bow but this did not last long, as he found he much preferred hunting for sport to killing in war. He is thought to have created the Beastlands. At one point during his wanderings in Talazic, he happened across a farm where Hanetch was working, and from their fascination with the way the other interacted with the natural world, a relationship formed. Tvorec is portrayed as a dark-skinned man with dark brown hair, wearing clothes made of animal skins and furs and carrying a bow of bone, called Arcus, and an embroidered quiver. Frequently a wolf or deer is shown at his side.   Tvorec is often referred to as Father of the Hunt, or the Bowmaster.

Relationships

Tvorec's wife was Hanetch, and at one time he rode into battle alongside her to protect her home village. Though he had previously been on an eternal hunting trip across Talazic, when he met her the idea of settling down suddenly appealed to him, and he made the land around her village his new hunting grounds. Together they had one son, Uapri. Tvorec taught many humanoids how to hunt, but notable among his pupils was the Meydra Uskad.

Followers

Tvorec has few clerics, but most hunters of Talazic have at least some level of respect for his holistic approach to the use of the animal, with many of them constructing their ways of life around it.
