Illethar

Her skin was the violet of bruising and wine
Her eyes gleamed with lust for the world at her feet
The horns on her helm had a wicked recurve
The sight of her drove men to craven retreat
With morningstar fearsome and armor unmatched
She thundered o’er land like a great beast in heat
Chant of Illethar

Illethar, goddess of violence and hedonism, did not stay near Evendur for long before diverging from his intentions. She saw the world as a collection of things to be taken and used, and believed that the point of living was to do whatever one wanted to do, and to live only for one’s own interests. She became known as a subject of terror, awe, and power. It could never be predicted where and when she would strike, as she lived her days essentially touring the world in search of new things she could take, usually at the cost of much innocent blood. It is said that wine ran through her veins like blood. Illethar is usually portrayed as a broad-shouldered woman with rough purple skin, wearing leather armor adorned with spikes and a massive horned helmet, and holding a bloodied morningstar.

Relationships

Illethar bore three children to Fierel: Kan Zul, Dzuzce, and Lesta-Yen. She bore one, Ramari, to Madjei. She also may have been mother of Gruumsh, creator of the orcs, though this is no more than a theory.

Followers

Illethar's followers almost never form into groups because her core teaching, that there should be never be any reason not to take whatever you want or kill whomever you want, does not lend itself to such organizations. Instead, her followers generally are solo travelers, sometimes forming mentor-apprentice relationships or occasionally forming into small bands.
