Valedith
(a.k.a. The Scientist)
Valedith was a Simra, the second child and only daughter of Miranelle, Lady of the Stars. Her name came from an ancient Elvish word meaning "light." Her role was to be the bringer of clarity and peace among her people—she aimed to reveal as much as possible about the world by learning as much as possible. For this reason she has at times been compared to Ebium. Her focus was on the gathering of observable truths about the physical world in particular. She traveled often because of this, observing and documenting her findings in a series of journals which are now housed in the archives of the temple to Miranelle in Geldereth. She would return to Mount Di'una, home of her and her brothers, at least once a year, and it was she who discovered Allor Cella and led her brothers to it. They built a home there, around which the city of Geldereth was eventually constructed.
Though Valedith was very scientifically minded, she was also a great lover of beauty. A great many poems and songs have been written based on the notes she took.
Valedith's brothers were the Simrae Adurien and Cadain. She married a high elf named Fidriel with whom she had three children.
