General Summary
The removal of the black crystal from Morgana's statue triggers the shrine's defences, as 3 shadows emerge and attack the party
2 of the Shadows are handily dispatched, but the 3rd seems to be much stronger as it cuts Roan down
The previously defeated spiders are reanimated as zombies, adding even greater danger to the already difficult battle
The fight continues to turn sour, as Barnabus is taken down by the zombie sword spider, and already hurt Meepo and Groban are felled by the Shadow
Celine and Blair hold out as best they can, with all but 2 of the spiders and remaining Shadow still a threat
Unfortunately, the creatures prove too strong, and the party is felled
However... the adventurers recall hearing fragments of conversation as they flit in and out of conciousness, eventually awakening in a room above The Water Dragon Tavern
A familiar dark cloaked figure stands before them, and explains that she decided to revive the party as she has further use of them
The figure indicates that they have all been marked with a tattoo (or engraving in Celine's case) of 3 eyes surrounded by arcane symbols
She warns that the group should not try to remove or interfere with these markings, indicating that they will regret such action
The figure tells the party to continue with their previous plan to join the expedition to God's Fall. Apparently there is something that they will need to recover - a detail that will be revealed at a later date
Before leaving, the figure provides Celine with details on where they might find a Moonblade - in the hands of an Elf called Yavanna in Erfu. Yavanna is apparently a guard for the elven queen
In another twist, the figure also explains that she has taken Blair's scythe (or has taken Blair perhaps?)
