Hostetta
The Goddess of War. She presides over all forms of conflict; from personal disputes to full-on wars. It is believed that preying to this goddess can bring victory in times of war, or can improve one's own prowess in times of conflict. During wars, both sides will spend great resources in appeasing this goddess, in the hopes of coming out as the victor.
Depictions of Hostetta often feature her in shining armour. Like The Goddess, she is always depicted with angelic wings (though with only two rather than The Goddess' four). More often than not, Hostetta is shown wearing a mask over her eyes, this is believed to represent the "blindness of war", though scholars argue over the exact meaning of this. Pictures of Hostetta are often displayed in the war rooms of palace's and other similar places of conflict. Hostetta's favoured weapon is shown as a rune-carved longsword called 'Instigator'. It is believed that this sword was used to carve the earth into the existing countries of the world today.
